Gratitude Walls
A simple wall that turns individual thanks into a building-wide moment.
The Experience
We install a large, beautifully framed gratitude wall in a high-traffic lobby with notes, pens, and a gentle prompt. Tenants add what they're thankful for — big or small — and watch the wall fill over days and weeks. It can run quietly for a season or anchor a specific week of programming, ending with a shared photo of the finished wall.
Why It Works
- Participation takes two minutes, so everyone can contribute.
- The growing wall becomes a daily visual moment in the lobby.
- Gratitude content is warm, inclusive, and photographable for the community story.
Additional Inspiration
- Theme the prompts by week — colleagues, small wins, the neighborhood — so the wall stays fresh for tenants who pass it daily.
- Offer a photo-free quiet hour option and a 'just for me' note format so participation never feels performative.
- Close the season by compiling a printed or digital keepsake of anonymized notes to share with the whole building.
